The members of this organization are the most important factor to the success that this organization has had in its short three years. Among the members of this organization grew a group of leaders that have led us though this year. It is now the task of the members to choose who they feel is most eligible to lead.
For me personally I feel I am the optimal choice for your UNTAEE Presidential vote. This organization's passion has been part of my professional goals through the duration of my years here at UNT. It was during my freshman year that this organization came into being; and I have been a part of it since its inauguration. I have been under a part of its leadership team for two years. I stepped in as the Fundraising Chair when the chairs were created. While I was unable to kick off a fundraising event during that spring semester, I was able to see the direction that this organization wanted to go. This past year I operated as the Vice President of the organization. It was my responsibility to keep the officers on task, and fill in for the president in case of emergency. In addition to my past leadership within the organization, I have become active within the last 6 months within our local North Texas chapter. The monthly meetings that they provide are invaluable. Among the fantastic information and tours they provide, the organization is filled with professionals.
I would like to thank all of you for the success that this organization has had since it began. After all, we as students have a common goal for this organization: to begin to create a bridge between our engineering studies and a future career in energy.

Hey guys! Over this past year I have served as the secretary of UNT AEE, and we helped established AEE as one of the premier organizations on campus. It was a lot of work and dedication, but it was well worth the effort. Now, I want to take this organization to new heights. I want this organization to be the best on campus, providing the best of professional networking and project opportunities. I have a crystal clear vision of where we need to be at the end of year, and I will put the effort it takes to make that happen.
My Qualifications:
-I spent the last year as the secretary of AEE, from summer orientations to elections.
-I have built up personal connection with our parent chapter, that provides us with numerous networking opportunities.
-I been in contact with opportunities for outreach, projects, and fundraising for our chapter.
I'm very excited that you guys have shown an interest in our organization, and I hope you will join me in this journey. Thank you and vote for me as President of AEE for the 2014-15 school year.

When I joined AEE this year, I saw a group of individuals that had oceans of potential. As president I intend to bring this potential to its full fruition. As leader of AEE I will be able to organize the individuals in our organization, motivate its members, encourage new members to join, seek out and gain new networking and professional contacts and opportunities for our members and set ourselves apart from the everyday student organization. I've started saying that if you are an engineer, you are an energy engineer. Energy efficiency and energy conservation is a central issue in today's society and it is our task as the future of engineering in the United States to solve these energy problems being faced by our nation. Together with the members of UNT AEE I can lead the engineering community into a bright future full of opportunity and fulfilled dreams.
